1994 Land Rover Defender 90 NAS 5-Speed

This 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 is #68 of 87 North American Specification models imported to Canada for the 1994 model year. It was brought to the US in 2014 and now shows 92k kilometers (~57k miles). Finished in Arles Blue over gray cloth and black vinyl, the truck is powered by a 3.9-liter V8 linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a roll cage, a front brush guard, 16″ five-spoke wheels, Exmoor Trim seating, air conditioning, a JVC Bluetooth stereo, and Polk Audio speakers. This Defender 90 NAS is offered by the selling dealer in New York with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and Connecticut registration.
Aluminum body panels are finished in Arles Blue and accented by black wheel arch flares, and NAS models were equipped with a roll cage from the factory. Additional equipment includes a front brush guard, driving lights, side step bars, taillight protection, and a receiver hitch. Photographs of paint meter readings are provided in the gallery below.
A rear plaque identifies this truck as #68 of the 87 NAS examples imported to Canada for the 1994 model year.
The 16″ five-spoke wheels were mounted with 265/75 Michelin Agilis Cross Climate tires in August 2025, and a full-size spare is secured to the swing-out carrier at the rear. The front and rear brake calipers and pads were changed in 2023. The steering stabilizer, pitman arm, track rod, right-side outer tie rod, sway bar end links, swivel ball seals, and wheel bearings were replaced in preparation for the sale.
The Exmoor trim front bucket seats and four inward-facing rear jump seats are upholstered in gray cloth with black vinyl sides and backing. Interior amenities include air conditioning, a locking center console, a JVC Bluetooth stereo, and Polk Audio speakers.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-km/h speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 92k kilometers (~57k miles).
The 3.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 182 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque. The exhaust was repaired, and the timing chain and gear were replaced along with the crankshaft seal, camshaft sprocket, water pump, throttle position sensor, ECU, and gaskets for the intake manifold, oil pan, and valve covers in 2023. The battery and spark plugs were replaced in March 2025, and the oil was changed along with the rear fuel lines in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
The Carfax report is free from accidents or other damage.
The truck is being sold on its Connecticut registration, which serves as an ownership document in Connecticut, and lists “Antique” under the Registered Usage section.
