Bid to USD $401,000 on 1/23/26

This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu sport coupe was modified and customized over the course of three years by Ironworks Speed & Kustom of Bakersfield, California, with records showing approximately $600k in work was completed. It is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LT4 crate V8 linked with a Bowler Performance T56 six-speed manual gearbox, and the Speedtech Performance chassis has independent front and rear suspension with custom-valved coilovers, tubular control arms, rack-and-pinion steering, and manual Wilwood disc brakes. The body is finished in black with white stripes and is equipped with carbon-fiber inner fenders and LED lighting, and the cabin is outfitted with Vintage Air climate control, Dakota Digital instrumentation, a custom console, a retro-look stereo, power windows, and black leather over carbon-fiber panels. Fabricated headers, a BTR camshaft, staggered-diameter Forgeline wheels, and a GearFX rear axle were also specified during the build. This modified Chevelle was acquired by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, in 2026, and it is now offered with build records and a clean Florida title.

The body was repainted in black with white stripes by Lewis Milnich Body Shop of Hanford, California, in 2024, and carbon-fiber inner front fenders and rear quarter panels have been installed. The body is mounted to a Speedtech Performance chassis that was powder-coated flat black during the build. Other details include a cowl hood, LED lighting, an SS-style grille and taillight panel, black drip moldings, and chrome wheel arch trim.

The power-adjustable front seats have carbon-fiber housings, and appointments include a custom center console, power windows, Vintage Air climate control, cupholders, and the retro-look Bluetooth stereo linked to aftermarket speakers.
