This 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible was fitted with a replacement 400ci V8 in the early 1990s and was refinished in Cyber Gray over red during refurbishment work in completed in 2008. Equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a limited-slip differential, a power-operated black soft top, power steering, front disc brakes, 15″ five-spoke wheels, a center console, a hood tach, an AM/FM radio, and a heater. The selling dealer acquired the car in 2025 and added Holley Sniper EFI while replacing the headlights, tune-up components, front upper and lower ball joints, the idler arm, and the inner tie rods. This Firebird is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a Protect-O-Plate, PHS documents, the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a car cover, and transferable New York registration.

The car was finished at the factory in Regimental Red (R) and was refinished in Corvette Cyber Gray by Classic Restorations of Pine Island, New York. Body work involved replacing the quarter panels and is detailed further in the photo gallery. The power-operated black soft top and the window glass were also replaced at that time. The headlights were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The 15″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with 195/60 Firestone Firehawk AS tires showing 2021 date codes. The car is equipped with power steering, and stopping is provided by front discs and rear drums. The rear leaf springs have been replaced, and KYB shocks are fitted up front with Edelbrock shocks out back. The front upper and lower ball joints, idler arm, inner tie rods, and tie rod ends were replaced in preparation for the sale.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in red vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The interior was completed in 2008 and involved repainting the lower dash and dash bezel. Amenities include a center console, an AM/FM radio, a heater, and a fire extinguisher.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. A replacement tachometer is mounted on the hood, and Auto Gage gauges for water and oil pressure are mounted underneath the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 13k miles, approximately 25 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 400ci V8 is said to have been installed by Nunzi’s Automotive of Brooklyn in 1991, and the block bears a “Nunzi” stamp. Doug’s ceramic-coated headers were installed in April 2013, the fuel tank was replaced in September 2021, and work in preparation for the sale included installing Holley Sniper EFI and replacing the spark plugs, plug wires, distributor cap, and starter.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential said to have Richmond 3.55:1 gears. The differential fluid was changed in preparation for the sale. A rust repair was completed on the left frame rail in 2008.
